The 2008 season for LeConte Lodge^® will be March 24 through November 25. LeConte Lodge began booking 2008 reservations in October, 2007.  Most weekend reservations were booked by November, 2007 for the 2008 season.  To inquire about availability for the 2008 season (March 24 through November 25), please use the 2008 lottery form or call 865-429-5704.

Since LeConte Lodge^® fills up rapidly with reservations, please consider Charit Creek Lodge as an alternate location for your wilderness getaway if we cannot reserve you a place at LeConte Lodge^®. Charit Creek Lodge is located in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and is only accessible by foot or horseback.

Since careful advance planning is necessary to properly run a wilderness lodge (we have to resupply the lodge by helicopter and llama pack trains), 30 days notice is required to cancel a reservation and receive a full refund. If you need to cancel with less than 30 days notice, still notify us as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee a refund, if we can rent your reserved space, we'll gladly return your payment.

Payment Policy
The payment required to hold reservations shall be the full amount of the occupancy and meal charges, including sales tax. If the reservation is made between the first and the fifteenth of the month, payment is due by the first of the following month. If the reservation is made between the sixteenth and the end of the month, payment is due by the fifteenth of the following month. Payment on reservations made less than thirty days before arrival date are due when reservation is made. Credit cards are not accepted. Checks, cash or money order accepted.

Late Cancellation Policy
Hosting guests on a remote mountaintop creates some unique problems of food supply and filling up unexpected vacancies. The trip to LeConte Lodge^® is one that takes much advanced preparation, both for the host and for the guest. Most of your food is sent to the lodge in the spring of the year. Requests for guest reservations are made far in advance of arrival date. It is very difficult to fill vacancies created by cancellations of less than thirty days notice. Consequently, we cannot guarantee a refund of your payment unless you give us thirty days notice. If a cancellation is necessary with less than thirty days notice, please notify us of the cancellation before the reservation date. If we rebook your space(s) for that night, we will gladly return your payment. If we do not rebook your space(s), refunds on cancellations without thirty days notice cannot be made, regardless of the circumstances.

LeConte Lodge LTD. is an authorized National Park Service Concession. It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservation and future booking privileges.
